Week 7 7 Times, 7 Ways

We are not just learning about 7 ways to learn but we are doing it as well.  The shapes, colors, dates, do it now, I promise, service cards….the videos, the written material, the blogs, the Alliance area, our DMP and the list goes on.  So many learning avenues.

To all of this is culminating in this sentence from our week 7 assignment, “Visualization is the process of making mental images, and the image is the mold or model which will serve as a pattern from which your future will emerge.”  That mental image of our DMP becomes clearer every day and after each recital and reflection.  I see myself thinking about how to get there.  For example, is was looking at a Twitter follower of mine and saw that he mentioned both CA and HI in his background.  I immediately reached out via Linkedin to connect.  I have no idea if it will ever amount to anything but that’s not the point.  The point is to open our minds to the possibilities–whatever and wherever they take us.  That said, I know where I am going and I can see it.  I also know that new contacts will help me get there.

It just flipped the switch to cold here in Minnesota but I had to flip my switch to positive thoughts and my positive thought is Maui.  First, my wife and I will be there in a couple of weeks and second as I visualize in my DMP,  are going to be there by 2019.

We watch the new Hawaii 5-O and Hawaii Life shows.  We are even going on the Hawaii 5-O tour this time during our stop over in Honolulu.  We bring home various Maui items to help us get through the year like soap, tea and coffee so although for now we are here–we are there.

So I focus on the laws of abundance and attraction.  I am virtually “willing” Maui to me.

    • Thank you for your kind words. Don’t get down on yourself, instead, pick yourself up. Where you are is a state of mind. There are lots of lonely people in New York City and there are great people who have been in-prisoned over the years who let their minds be free. It’s all in your state of mind. So just do it now-whatever that is for you and do your best. There’s more in you than you give yourself credit for I am sure. Just the mere fact that you recognize that you are behind says a lot. So hang in there, appreciate the small things-they can grow into big things like tress. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog. Let’s be in harmony. Oh and Hawaii is our slice of paradise. Can’t wait to be there in a few days. Mahalo.
