Week 24.  To thine own self be true….

“This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.”  Shakespeare

We shorten it to: “to thine own self be true.”  By being true to ourselves we can make the biggest impact in our lives and the lives of others.

Trusting the universe.  Don’t let anyone or anything define your limits.  At age 7 I was told that I was legally blind.  The teacher moved me between the front row and the blackboard.  Every single day was one of total embrassement for me. I could feel the eyes of the entire class on me. I could hear the snickers and jokes.  As a second grader it was far more than I thought I could handle.

Add to the fact that I was a person with white skin in a family of black people didn’t help.  My big brother would get into fights just to protect me from the constant bullying, taunting and humiliating comments.  I lived my own life of quiet desperation.  And then I was in the hospital for two weeks after eating some bad Chinese food.  I turned yellow.  It was a lot for a young person.  Early on I learned that life was going to be what I made of it.

Over time I over came not being able to drive — now I do.  Not being able to see as others do — the computer revolution really helped me and I embraced it.  Being in service to others is how I try to live my life.  Giving to get has been a mantra for me for a long time.   ( I even created a business model that I pitched to a celebrity a few years ago). I have relied on my creativity and mind. Because I wanted young people to learn that they can achieve whatever they work for — I became a teacher.

Trusting in the universe –God–provided jobs when I needed them, housing when it looked as though I might be on the street, food when I had nothing.  There was a time when I would create excitement by changing up my meal plan from franks and beans to one of beans and franks.  True story.  But trust and faith got me and get me through.

So when I heard about the master key program I jumped on it.  For the first time I found a program that finally put forth thoughts and concepts in a formal program that I have always believed in over my life.  I have known what my true self is, to some degree, but I couldn’t fully articulate nor did I have a plan to achieve it.  Now I do.  I am so thankful to Msrk J and the fab D and all the Master key cohorts.

If we are true to ourselves we can truly embrace Mathew 6:34. “So never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties. Each day has enough of its own troubles.”

It’s not the material things that make us truly happy.  It’s finding and following our true calling.  If you love what you do you will never work a day in your life.  Finding your bliss is what it’s all about.  Nothing else matters if you hope to escape a quiet life of desperation.

Over the past few months I have connected with hundreds of albinos around the world.  I am learning new things, cultures and people.  If you don’t know, in some places.

Life is a journey and I am moving closer to a higher purpose each and every day.  I am finding more  security’s do happiness  within myself.  Change is from within.  Understand and follow your true spirit.   Today I am walking down the right path all based on to thine own self be true.

So get up and harness your future.  Do it now.  Not tomorrow but now.

Men take note.  From the 1996 movie “Phenomnon” with John Travolta.  “Every woman has her chair, something she needs to put herself into, Banes. You ever figure out what Lisa’s chairs were and buy ’em?”  Find out what your spouse’s passion is and mentally buy into it each and every day.

Give your gift unselfishly to the world.  A random act of kindness will come back to you– when and how ?  Who knows.  At minimum you will feel good.

Check out this short film.

“When you spot your flower you can’t let anything get in the way.”  What’s your flower?

Do it now.

Thank you!!!!

Week 23…The law of growth is kicking in

Can’t believe that it’s week 23.  And yes I believe.  The last week or so has been extremely challenge inc on a personal and professional level.  Everything we are learning and have learned is being put to the test.  At the nd of the day I have to believe.

It sort of like when you go on a roller coaster and have faith that you are not going to go off the tracks.

One of the challenges has been trying to deal with a family member about a very serious health care issue.  Rather then be willing to discuss and debate he chose to shut us out.  I am reminded that we are all on our own path and as such it is up to each of us to listen to our own hearts and make our own decisions.  But in actuality our subconscious is making the decision.  So in this case with my father in law we are really struggling with his subconscious.

So Coralie and I have to remember to step back, live our lives in the best way possible.  Take the observer role…being nonjudgmental.  We are right in the midst of this and it’s hard but we are being taught in real time because it is truly out of our hands.

On another note I am being forced into being and knowing who I am.  I didn’t plan it but circumstances are such that I am having to make certain choices and decisions.  I can fall into old habits and blueprints or follow my dharma and true purpose.

What’s amazing is that all this is coming after almost completing the course.  The law of growth is manifesting itself.  It just interesting that it’s happening now and not last year.  How wonderful is the universe?

More on all of this as it unfolds over the next few weeks.

Week 22

The weekly webinars are great but I am finding that the masterminding sessions are just as powerful in their own way and in their own right.  Average people like me sharing personal experiences and perceptions or asking questions. It’s very helpful and often sheds light on a topic that needs more light.

Screen Shot 2015-03-01 at 5.20.08 PM

I took my own screen shot of the gang.  🙂

In lesson 22 in paragraph 2 the concept of thoughts create impressions in our mind and attract similar thoughts.  This is why negative thoughts are so bad.  For example, if you have ever conducted a marketing research focus group you will notice that if one person gets on a negative thought and path they can sway the whole group to they way of thinking.  It’s pretty amazing to watch.  A good moderator will pick up on this immediately and work to bring the group back into equilibrium.

“2. If the state of our health is not all that could be desired, let us examine our method of thinking; let us remember that every thought produces an impression on the mind; every impression is a seed which will sink into the subconscious and form a tendency; the tendency will be to attract other similar thoughts and before we know it we shall have a crop which must be harvested.”

So I continue on my makeover as well as working to eliminate guilt, unworthiness, anger and fear.  It’s amazing how these permeate our lives and daily activities.  I think about how these emotions and feelings control us or stop us from doing what we need to be doing.

Week 21 Power Up.

Running a bit slo this week.

As I read about power in lesson 21 I was reminded about it as I tried fix a light fixture.  First, I tried to take a short cut and not turn off the power as I worked on the over head fixture and two, I stuck a needle nose pliers into the fixture…you can see where this is going…  sparks, blown circuit, etc.  Point being power is great but we have to understand it, understand the rules by which it is governed and respect what we learn.  Just having power or access to it without knowledge and the proper application of that knowledge is nothing.  In fact it could be dangerous as in the case with me and my own stupidity with electrical current and the respective –or lack of respect–properties.  I am grateful and gratified that we have the power and it is sufficient for all our needs.  But as the Fab D and Mark J remind us–it is the application of knowledge that is critical and in fact the proper application…

From lesson 21…

3. This is because the Infinite Mind, which is the source from which all things proceed, is one and indivisible, and each individual is a channel whereby this Eternal Energy is being manifested. Our ability to think is our ability to act upon this Universal Substance, and what we think is what is created or produced in the objective world.

4. The result of this discovery is nothing less than marvelous, and means that mind is extraordinary in quality, limitless in quantity, and contains possibilities without number. To become conscious of this power is to become a “live wire”; it has the same effect as placing an ordinary wire in contact with a wire that is charged. The Universal is the live wire. It carries power sufficient to meet every situation which may arise in the life of every individual. When the individual mind touches the Universal Mind it receives all the power it requires. This is the world within. All science recognizes the reality of this world, and all power is contingent upon our recognition of this world.

Week 21. Inside out

Wow. I knew I had it in me but its so powerful to see the science. Molecules, protons, etc.

Although it’s not a perfect analogy I noticed the trailer for the new Pixar movie, “Inside Out.”

It’s about our emotions in our head. Haven’t seen the movie since it comes out in June but it certainly brings emotions to the forefront.

I just had to get this out. More to come.

Week 20. The Comfort Zone is our Twilight Zone

We learned about how Fear, Guilt, Hurt Feelings Anger and Unworthiness and how to turn these negatives into positives.  IT got me thinking that negative energy can be very strong and powerful.  We allow it to be so.  The Fab D reminds us that we live the life that we choose.  Everything we do is a choice and the things we don’t do, that’s a choice too.  What’s scary is not seeing how our comfort zone is controlling us.  Allowing life to control us rather then taking the bull by the horns and taking our own control.

Rod Serling could do a number of episodes about our comfort zone.  In fact many thrillers actually play and use on our comfort zone and turn them around to create fear.  In effect our comfort zone is a trap to all of us and our progression.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not happening overnight but I am looking at things differently.  We a personal situation arise this week and instead of fearing it, we took it head on.  Reached out to others for help and indeed put it into proper perspective.  Guilt that would have arisen from it was put in its place.  Becoming conformable with the fact that we are not hear to please everyone.  Doing the right thing is not going to make everyone happy.

I also continued work on multi-tasking.  Yes, I still multitask but I am doing it less and less.  The mere fact that I think about it is great progress for me.  I am grateful for that progress.

The cold is grips the upper midwest.  My wife and I hate it but it also serves as a constant reminder of my DMP and that I need to stay focused on its implementation and execution.  The colder it gets the more real Maui looks.  From the pain of the cold rises that stronger desire to make my DMP real.

I am loving the comments in the Alliance zone.  I need to fully utilize it and use it more.  There are so many good ideas and suggest there from which to feed on.  A true blessing.
